* Mad Science Goes Pop 5 to 10 years

Did you hear that? Dr Parsec Supernova is up to his old tricks again! This time he is experimenting with things that go pop! Balloons, pop-corn, science experiments, and so much more! With Dr Supernova, you never know what to expect... Only this time, if you blink you might miss it.

An Artist's Garden 4 to 7 years

A drawing and painting workshop full of inspiration from the artist's garden. Look at artworks by Vincent Van Gough and Claude Monet, Margaret Preston and others. Draw your own flowers or fruit from real life. Make a beautiful painting of the artist's garden to take home.

Art Foundations: Sunrise / Sunset 8 to 14 years

There's colour in the sky; reds, yellows, deep purples, pinks and oranges. This workshop is an introduction to the exciting medium of watercolour. Learn about mixing and applying watercolour paints in surprising ways. You'll have 2 finished artworks to take home.

Art Foundations: Paint Pen Art 10 to 15 years

Paint pens are versatile and fun to use in your art making. There are lots of techniques to learn to get the best from your paint pens, whichever brands you use. In this workshop learn tips for using and caring for your pens. Create 3 artworks, each using a different technique and on a different surface.

Bush Babies Draw & Paint 6 to 12 years

Australian baby animals are the adorable subjects for our art in this class. Learn to draw pups, puggles, cubs, hatchlings and joeys with easy steps. Develop, draw and paint 2 baby animal artworks ready for display. Uses a variety of drawing media, and poster paint.

Cartooning: Dogs in Disguise 5 to 10 years

Psst. Who's that? This workshop has dogs, and lots of them. You won't recognise them. They are in disguise. Hiding behind hats and moustaches. We'll create characters for them all. It's sure to be a hit with those who love cartooning.

City on the Moon 4 to 7 years

In the not-too-distant future, humans may actually be setting up a colony in space! So, what are we waiting for? Come along to this workshop that is out of this world. We'll learn about space and what's out there, then we'll construct a city for futuristic lunar living. The countdown has started; will you be a part of the crew?

Clay Play: Crazy Critters 4 to 7 years

Will your creature have 3 eyes, 5 legs, 3 heads or a spiky tail? Lots of wild things and crazy critters are waiting to be made using a variety of clays. Squish, roll, coil, pinch and poke. Add sticks, stones, bits and bobs some wild eyes, hair and some very sharp teeth.

Draw More: Manga Art 8 to 14 years

Pop Manga is a colourful and uplifting Manga style inspired by Camilla d'Errico. This is a Manga drawing workshop for beginners and the more experienced. It will include tips for drawing and posing your characters, choosing colours and blending with markers. Take home a colourful character artwork and practise sheets.

Engineering Challenge: Beat the Clock 6 to 12 years

Are you looking for a challenge? In this workshop, we will be racing the clock as we design, engineer, and build time trials to test your skill under pressure. Will you rise to the challenge?

Engineering Challenge: Sea Science 6 to 12 years

Are you looking for a challenge? It's time to sail the seven seas as we look for scientific and engineering questions we can answer. We'll tap into all the STEM fields to conduct our investigations, then use water as the basis for our Engineering Solution. Be sure to come armed with your imagination & creativity to help beat this challenge.

Fairy Art: Autumn Fashion 4 to 7 years

The fairy designers have some beautiful materials and lovely colours to choose from for our Autumn collection. Paint a beautiful fairy dress and wings, add sparkle, shimmer and shine. Make some jewellery and add colour to your accessories.

Geology Rocks: Fossil Finders 5 to 10 years

This workshop is a journey of Jurassic proportions for anyone who rocks! We'll share fascinating facts for all the fan favourites and excavate for evidence through historical eras. Join in the making, moulding, playing, and folding before the fun becomes extinct.

Glass Art: Dragons 10 to 15 years

These artworks are amazing to display. Draw up your dragons then transfer your design to a glass panel. Choose your colours -fire, water, forest, space. This workshop will take you through the process and techniques of painting on glass in a Manga art style.

Handmade from Japan 6 to 12 years

Be inspired by beautiful Japanese crafts easily done. Fold little origami birds with beautiful Japanese paper, learn the art of shibori dying, and make a small sashiko stitched pillow. Take home some beautiful original handmade objects.

Home Tweet Home 4 to 7 years

The birds in the city are without a place to call home. We'll come to their rescue. Find out about the birds that live in the city and how they like to live. Paint your very own birdhouse canvas artwork and make a water station to take home for your backyard birds.

Lego Hacks: Tricky Traps 6 to 12 years

Hack your brick building in this Lego workshop full of tunnels and traps, perils and pitfalls. We'll begin with some building techniques to make our creations look enticing, yet dangerous, then hack in some traps to make safe the loot. Whether you are a beginner with Lego or a black-belt builder, you will surely leave with new ideas for use with your own Lego collections.

LegoLab: Space Fleet 4 to 7 years

Take brick building out of this world in a workshop not so far, far away. Blast off and discover planets near and far, search for life, and help us build a fleet of spacecraft for the journey ahead.

Light Lab Science 4 to 7 years

Optical science is back on the table as we attempt to dissect light in this fun workshop for the junior scientist. We will split colour to see what comes out, try our hand at some different ways to combine colour, and try to understand the relationship between light and shade from the very small to a solar scale.

Marbles in Motion: Chain Reactions 5 to 10 years

Start with a marble and see where it leads! Isaac Newton had the idea, we'll have the fun. Blocks, levers, ramps, forces, energy, and as many chain reactions as we can fit in 90 minutes!

Math Magic: Tricks & Puzzles 8 to 12 years

Discover the captivating side of maths as we unveil the secrets behind mind-boggling math tricks and explore the fun in numbers. From perplexing puzzles to astonishing number games, this workshop will make math come alive in the most enchanting ways.

Model Masters: Jungle Temple 6 to 12 years

Come along and make memories in this building, painting, and modelling masterclass. We will talk about tools, research the ruins, and design a jungle temple scene to admire.

Pokemon Paper Caper 6 to 10 years

The Pokemon have escaped and are running riot. We need a crew of special detectives ready to help us catch them all! We'll learn to draw your favourites as we create "wanted" posters to display and craft an army of origami pocket monsters to help round up the stragglers.

Squishmallow Pop Art 6 to 12 years

Celebrate your squishy friends by painting their portraits. In this fun art based workshop you’ll draw and paint in a Pop Art style. We’ll choose bright acrylic colours and a variety of tools, including stencils.
