It’s that magical time of year again - our 18th annual Gingerbread House Workshops are here, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
In 2026 we are running 4 Gingerbread House workshops as follows. Each workshop costs $75 per booking, which includes everything you need to take home a gourmet, lolly covered, wrapped gingerbread house! Please make sure to read below to know what booking a place in each workshop includes.
- Monday December 21st 2pm - Teen (13+ years)
- Monday December 21st 7pm - Adult Workshop
- Wednesday December 22nd 3:30pm - Family & Friends & Workshop
- Wednesday December 22nd 6:30pm - Family & Friends & Workshop
What Happens in a Workshop?
- Attendees will assemble their own gourmet gingerbread house (no baking required!), then get creative decorating it with a fantastic assortment of chocolates, lollies and other sweet treats. Once complete, we’ll wrap up your masterpiece with a bow, ready to take home and enjoy!
- Our legendary lolly buffet will return, with an amazing array of lollies and chocolates. Imagination, creativity and sugar all in one!
- Our team will be on hand to help with instructions, offer tips and tricks, and help wrap your kit to take home. Christmas music, jokes and BYO drinks and snacks are welcome!
- All you need to decide is how to decorate? Will you choose a colour theme, a pattern, a chocolate theme, a house style (we have had log cabins, two story houses, contemporary homes and Queenslanders in previous years). Bring your ideas with you and get ready to unleash your inner builder and lolly magician!
How many people can attend under one booking?
- Family Workshop - Up to four people can attend under one shared booking, working together to create and decorate one gingerbread house. We request that children attending are at least 3 years old.
- Teen Workshop 13+ - We recommend one booking per teen, however, up to two teens may share a booking and work together on one house. Please let us know in advance if your teens will be attending as a pair.
- Adult Workshop - Each attendee requires their own individual booking. Shared or group bookings are not available for this workshop.
How to Book?
- All Booking links can be found on our Summer workshop program, which will be available from 7:30am Monday November 9th
- To book a class online, you will need to create an account on our website and add yourself as a 'student' to your account.
- Age limits are firm, and the youngest age for the teen workshop is 13 years.
- To book a spot in our family and friends workshop, just book one place. This will book you one shared Gingerbread house ticket. We will contact you to confirm your group size.

About our Kits:
- Made in Australia
- Vegan, nut free, palm oil free
- No added colours or flavours, no added preservatives
- Kosher
We will provide a large mix of lollies. Most lollies will be out of their packing, although all packing is available to check ingredients on request. A selected of wrapped lollies are also available for those who prefer.
What happens if I am no longer able to attend my booked workshop due to Illness / Unexpected Event?
- We get it, plans change! For this reason Flying Fox Studios offers a workshop credit or refund for any cancelled booking that has been requested in writing with 7 or more days notice before your scheduled class.
- Due to the nature of this workshop and the consumable materials required to be purchased in advance, we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations when less than 7 days notice has been given.
- If you are unable to attend you class, your kit will be provided in a take home pack to be collected from our studio prior to December 23rd.
- Workshops offered at Flying Fox Studios require a significant amount of resource preparation prior to the event. This is often completed the week prior to workshops, which is why we ask for 7 days notice if a refund or credit is requested.
