Kindermusik Our Time
A Good Beginning Never Ends | ![]() |

Our Kindermusik Our Time encourages your little one to be creative, to initiate their own ideas and to respond in their own ways, while your active participation gives them the security they need. In this age group children and adults all attend the class together for the full 45 minute lesson. As you play instruments, sing, move, and explore, you’ll uncover an engaging musical world while building your child’s confidence and communications skills. For your toddler, every day brings new discoveries and opportunities to explore the world around him. Despite your toddler’s seeming independence, he still longs for the safety and security of parental closeness. During this time, your toddler still relishes the comfort of the familiar while also seeking the challenge of something new. What you’ll experience in class:
Important: What to Expect in your Very First Class! Every child responds differently to their very first class, and that’s what we expect! Some toddlers may jump straight into the activities with excitement, while others prefer to watch quietly from the sidelines until they feel more comfortable. It’s not uncommon for children to stay close to their grown-up, stand back from the group, or need a little extra reassurance. It’s important not to mistake a lack of participation as a sign that they’re not enjoying the class or they are not interested—it’s simply part of their process of adjusting and taking it all in at their own pace. Trying new things often come with big emotions, and that's ok! The class is designed to be supportive and flexible, allowing children to participate when they’re ready, and have found their safe space. Over time (usually 2-3 weeks) most toddlers grow in confidence, begin to join in more actively, and form really positive connections with their teacher and classmates. And from there the learning and fun begins! |
